I think someone in Temasek Hall really loves me. Or maybe not. I just had a pair of Nike sneakers purloined off my shoe rack. Someone must be really in need for a pair of good sneakers, so much so that he had to choose the one that was worn the least.
So here I am, reflecting on what Charleston was preaching during the last G Zone service. How can one be rejoicing about the problems he’s facing, especially so when he just lose a hundred and twenty dollar NIke sneakers to a dubious individual?
I’m not heartbroken or painfully depressed over a pair of stolen sneakers; after the relationship episode, hardly any problem can hold a candle to it. It’s particularly the part which you can imagine – someone preying at your belongings – that sends a shiver down your spine that’s troubling.
I wish my problems are more lovable.

I placed them inside. But they’ll dirty the room. Didn’t know construction workers have such small feet. I hope they trip.

@Penny: I can’t bring myself to see it that way. Losing and giving are very different concepts to begin with. Sure, it can be a form of consolation for myself, but who but myself am I to deceive if the turnout proves to be otherwise?
