I wished I had come from a low-level programming background like C or Assembly. In that case, I will be able to appreciate the wonders and simplicity high-level programming languages like Java and Ruby bring.
It is almost months ever since I decide to take the plunge (or the bandwagon ride) onto Ruby and Rails. I wanted to do something agile. Ruby, and Rails offered the best given the choices available. But I find myself on the verge of giving up because I simply couldn’t comprehend some of the concepts that are vastly different from Java.
Or perhaps I should have stayed on with Java, Servlets and JSPs or switching to PHP like thousands have.
Am in a state of denial. I want to learn Ruby.
