2 Paid Tribute
Loyalty doesn’t pay
I could still remember the day I signed up for my Singnet Internet plans. During that times, 56kbps dial up plan was everything. Everyone had an account probably just for the sake of getting online to take a little surf. Just in less than a decade, the Internet has transformed from a slow and sluggish dial up service to a high speed broadband service. It was nine years ago when I first had my Internet account, all that greeted us was a puny startup kit (a CD-ROM with Internet Explorer 3.0 in it) and perhaps some wallpaper and beautifully printed pamphlets. Take a look at today, you got all sorts of welcoming gifts, and Singnet practically thank you for signing up with them.
One of my friends got a Apple MacBook. I have seen promotions offering XBox game sets and digital cameras as well as PC packages. And for an existing customer like me, I’ve got nothing. Nine long years, not even an appreciation gift. I wasn’t even entitled to any of the promotional gifts that came along if I extended my plan. I was surprised actually, not petty, but the way they treat their current portfolio of clients.
I posted this because they just offered anyone a set of Playstation Portable (PSP) that comes with DJ Max Game and other vouchers. All yours when you sign up for one.
Am going to try Starhub the next time my Singnet plan expires.
